WHO?

My name is Joren van Suijlekom.
I am a freelance 3D artist, based in the Netherlands.

As a kid I loved to craft with all kinds of materials and this urge to create later translated itself to the digital world. After getting my bachelor degree in Communication & Multimedia Design I started as a freelance multimedia designer and worked on a wide variety of projects; from websites and flash-based games to motion graphics and interactive installations.

In 2011, I took on the role of motion designer and creative manager at NuFormer, a Dutch company specializing in 3D video mapping. In 2015, I moved to New Zealand and joined the motion design studio Bunker. In early 2024, I returned to the Netherlands to pursue a full-time freelance career.

I’m very passionate about outdoor sports and therefore my focus in my work lays within the watersports industry. For the last five years I have been working together with watersport brands like North Kiteboarding, Mystic, Vayu, Cabrinha and Crazy Fly.
